Patrick Biller (Aarhus University) awarded with the 2023 Grundfos Prize
Patrick is the principal researcher in CIRCULAIR’s work package dedicated to the integration of hydrothermal liquefaction and wet-oxidation.
The Grundfos Prize is granted to young researchers from Danish universities under the theme “The Stars of Tomorrow” for significant research that breaks new ground and lays the foundation for societal change.
Patrick Biller, Associate Professor at the Biological and Chemical Engineering Department, Aarhus University (Denmark), was awarded the 2023 Grundfos Prize. Patrick is the principal researcher in CIRCULAIR’s work package that is dedicated to the integration of hydrothermal liquefaction and wet-oxidation.
The award lecture is available in form of a video on the Grundfos Foundation website. In his lecture Patrick introduces to the basics of hydrothermal liquefaction conversion, early applications in the field of wastewater treatment and key considerations that led to the CIRCULAIR project (see minutes 18’-28’ for CIRCULAIR and its motivation).
Congratulations to Patrick for this great achievement from the whole CIRCULAIR consortium.
