Closing the Knowledge Gap: HTL Chars for Sustainable Agriculture
CIRCULAIR will fill a knowledge gap regarding the use of HTL chars for soil application in agriculture. The research and development effort comprises the characterisation of HTL solids, the development of suitable stabilisation and modification procedures as well as pot trials.
The target is to improve soil properties, potentially preserve the fertilizing effect of manure and sequester carbon in the long term, creating a negative contribution to the carbon footprint.
